When Joyce Keelan, a mother of three young children, couldn't find fun, educational toys for her children, she decided to create them herself. An engineer by profession, she had become dissatisfied with corporate life and proceeded to take her creative abilities in another direction. Her first effort was a puppet, which won the Oppenheim Special Needs Adaptable Play award. Not bad for a beginner.
