One side of Great Pretenders Reversible Spider/Bat Cape by Creative Education Costumes is made of red satin polyester with a printed black spider web design. Guess what else? Four black velvet spiders are appliqued to the cape to assist in those spider superhero adventures. The cape reverses to black satin with a gold velvet bat on the back, which is different than the bat the picture suggests. (We think it's better.) The spider/bat cape is edged in black and closes around the neck with the help of a Velcro tab. It's machine washable, so it will always make a good impression. And how nice to have a choice of superhero. After all, sometimes you feel like a bat, sometimes you don't.
