If you want to make dragons happy, and we think that's a given, be sure to provide them with some beautiful, colorful stacking blocks that will keep them occupied for hours. Made of solid beech wood in Germany, HABA proves once again why they get awards. The wooden stacker frame has six pegs where blocks can be mixed and matched to make different patterns. The puzzle part comes in when kids have to figure out which pieces really need to be at the top of their creation--like flags. They don't do well at the bottom of buildings. Dragon, people and flower blocks can be matched to their companion pieces or mixed to create some rather interesting mutations. Painted on all sides with non-toxic colors, the blocks come in a variety of shapes, each with an imaginative design. One of the blocks has a plastic prism for a little extra castle bling. The Land of Dragons Stacking Puzzle Game has 27 wooden blocks and is nicely boxed for gift giving.
