A farm in your bath tub? Why not? It's easy with Wacky Wash Mitts Farm Animals by Rich Frog! Bath time becomes very interesting when washing with a cow, lamb, duck and pig. Made of soft, brightly colored terrycloth sponge fabric, the animal facial features are embroidered for safety and long-lasting wear.
Each wash mitt is topped with a handy hanging loop, keeping the bath mitts tidy on the tub faucet and allowing them to easily dry. Wacky Wash Mitts become clever hand puppets in the tub to make getting clean a lot more fun. Unlike many farm animals, these farm friends are machine washable.

Cleaning:
Many of our fabric toys are machine-washable, and all of our toys are
can be surface washed. If it is not particularly dirty, you may choose
to surface wash a toy even though it can safely go into the washing
machine.
We recommend washing toys in cold water with the machine on a gentle
cycle, and drying them in a cool dryer. Use a mild detergent and do not
use bleach.
It is always a good idea to place any washable toys inside a mesh
laundry bag when washing by machine. This will help the toy to keep its
shape and prevent it from getting tangled in your washer. Laundry bags
can be found in most supermarkets and are relatively inexpensive.
Always wash similar colors together. Particularly bolder colors like
bright reds can be prone to bleeding. This does not mean that
the dyes are toxic or unsafe; it is just the nature of brightly colored
dyes to not adhere to the fabric as well as lighter colors do.
Safety:
Product Testing
Our toys are tested for safety before we go into production, and the
final products are tested again afterwards. These tests cover a number
of areas such as:
• Mechanical and Physical Test to ensure that the toy is sturdy enough for the intended age group.
• Drop Test to ensure that the toy can withstand being dropped onto the floor.
• Small Parts Test to ensure that the toy has no loose small parts or
small parts that could become detached from the toy, and thus form a
choking hazard to small children.
• Flammability Test to ensure that the toy will not burn quickly when exposed to flame.
• Toxic Elements Analysis to test for the presence of lead, cadmium or
any other toxic chemicals in a toy or in any paints or dyes used to
decorate the toy.
• Labeling Test to ensure that the packaging is appropriately labeled
for the intended age group. The tests mentioned above are performed in
order to ensure that our toys meet or exceed the standards as defined by the American Society for Testing and
Materials (ASTM) as well as the European standards EN-71.
The nature of our business means that we contract with factories to
manufacture our designs. We will only work with suppliers that we know
and trust. At this time, we are working with manufacturers
in China, Spain, Thailand, Germany, Taiwan, Sri Lanka, and the United
States. Our relationships with these factories go back many years, and
we visit them often, know them well and trust them completely. In spite
of recent perceptions that toys from China are dangerous, we know that
with proper testing and oversight, toys made in China are as safe as
those made in any other country in the world. Of equal importance to us
at Rich Frog is that we can be sure that the subcontractors we use treat
their employees fairly. We choose our partners, and we attempt to
regularly visit the factories where our toys are made, so that we can
feel comfortable about the working conditions in those places.
Furthermore, we ask the factory to show that it has been accredited by
the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) or by the
International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI).
